Born in Australia, growing up in New Zealand and spending most of his early adulthood in Hong Kong, Stuart Gordon’s experience in life, marketing techniques and the sales industry certainly had an international influence while he completed his marketing degree.
Conquering the Asian promotional materials market required an enormous amount of confidence and marketing intelligence – and was something that Stuart managed by the tender age of 25, gaining valuable experience in manufacturing, importing and exporting along the way. In 1995 he revisited his homeland on a sales trip and fell in love with what Sydney had to offer.
But it wasn’t until 1997, just over a year after relocating to Sydney, that Stuart was able to realise his passion and launch his Australian based company, Giant Promotions. Of the 2 500 or so companies in Australia that deal in promotional products, only around one quarter of them have undertaken the challenge to meet the stringent requirements in quality, innovation and service needed to become an Australasian Promotional Products Association member. Giant has been an APPA member since 2004, ensuring that you’ll receive the highest possible standards of quality, creativity and service.
